Privacy policy

PowerShare respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. This policy covers this website. Contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you register interest or contact us: your name, email, phone number, what you are interested in, and your message.
  • How you use the site. We use PostHog analytics to understand which pages and buttons are used. This records pages viewed, clicks, browser and device type, approximate location, and recordings of how pages are scrolled and interacted with.
  • Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is stored on your own device, not sent to us.

Why we use it

  • to reply to you and send early-access updates you asked for;
  • to understand demand and improve the website and product;
  • to keep the site secure and working.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run the site for us: hosting, our contact database, email delivery and analytics. They may process data outside Nigeria under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep you updated, and deleted when you ask. Analytics data is kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how it is used, or withdraw consent to updates at any time by emailing us. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
